The Katena phone number inside your crew WhatsApp group and the reader that turns messages into Yes or No cards. One real order run through all eight steps with you. One hour of training at the office. A printed one page guide. Four weeks of weekly check ins.

What it does not include

Katana's own subscription, which Katana bills to you directly. Any change to Sage. Any new phones or computers. Work on the other parts of the Hub, which is what the monthly care is for.

What you pay and when

Monday September 28, 2026

$4,300

The day we start. This is the first half of the build.

Handover, target Friday October 23, 2026

$4,300

The second half. Handover means a real glass order has gone through all eight steps in Katana and you both say it works. If it has not, this payment waits until it has.

From November 1, 2026

$4,500 a month

Monthly care begins the first of the month after handover. Cancel any month.

Nothing else is owed for the build. There is no deposit beyond the first half, no extra for the phone number, and no charge for the weekly check ins.

Monthly care, $4,500 a month

The build is a system. Monthly care is the person who keeps it working and keeps building on it. You always have a software engineer on hand. Here is exactly what that means.

Every month you getWhat it means for you
Up to 40 hours of engineering workNew reports, new reminders, another supplier, another product, a change to how a screen works, a new section of the Hub. You ask, it gets built. That is 40 hours at the same $100 rate, worth $4,000 on its own.
The system watched every dayWe look at the Hub, the readers and Katana every working day. If an email was misread or an order did not move, we catch it before you do.
Same day fix when something breaksReport it by text or email before noon and it is fixed the same working day. After noon, by the next morning.
The running costs paidThe Katena phone number, every text message it sends, and the hosting of the Hub are inside the $4,500. No separate bills.
One review call a monthThirty minutes. We show what the system did that month, what was built, and agree what comes next.
A written monthly summaryOne page in plain English. Orders handled, texts sent, decisions made, hours used, what is coming.

Hours you do not use in a month carry into the next month, up to one extra month. So a quiet October can pay for a busy November.

How a month works

1

You tell us what you want

By text, by email, or at the monthly call. In your words. "The bids page should show who won." "Add the aluminum stock too." "Sam wants the morning text at 6:30 not 7:30." No forms to fill.

2

We agree the list

At the monthly call we put your requests in order and say how many hours each will take. You decide the order. Fixes to anything broken always go first and do not count against your hours.

3

The work lands during the month

Each item is built, tested on a copy of your data, then switched on. You see it in the Hub the day it goes live, with one line in the morning text saying what changed.

4

You get the summary

The one page monthly summary arrives on the first working day of the next month, with the hours used and the hours carried forward.

What the hours build next

The glass order system is the first piece. Your Hub already has a place for every other part of the business. Each one below is real work that needs to be built out for you, and each is the kind of thing the monthly hours are for. Bigger pieces get their own quote when you are ready. No prices here on purpose.

Part of the HubWhat it will do for youWhere it stands today
BidsEvery invitation to bid lands on one list with its deadline. Won or lost is marked from the emails. You see your win rate and which general contractors keep coming back.Live. Deadlines and outcomes are already read from email. Win rate and reminders are next.
DrawingsThe same reader that fills Katana from a glass PO learns your full shop drawings, so a whole railing job, posts, glass and hardware, lands in Katana from the drawing.Started. Drawings are collected from your mailboxes. Reading the full bill of materials is the next build.
ProjectsEvery job from the preliminary drawing to the measured fabrication, with its glass, its container and its crew, tied to the Katana order.Live list. The two phase job, early order then site measure, is the next build.
InvoicingYour Sage invoices shown next to the project in the Hub, with who has paid, who is late, and a reminder drafted for you to send.Sample data today. Needs the Sage export from Sam, then it is built.
SchedulingCrews, install dates and deliveries on one calendar, with Yes or No cards when a container lands or a crew is free.Live with decision cards. Crew calendar is next.
WarehouseAluminum, hardware and glass all counted in Katana, with counts sent by a photo or a text from the floor.Glass stock is live. Aluminum and hardware are next.
Contacts and architectsThe firms that write railing specs in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, with a lunch and learn to get Katena on their spec lists.A list of firms exists. Outreach waits for your approval of the invitation.
SocialA post from every finished project, written for you and posted only after you tap approve.Live for Instagram. Facebook and LinkedIn are next.
Always onThe readers move from our Mac to a small server that never sleeps. Not started. A one month item when you want it.

The rules we work by

Your data stays yours

Everything lives in your Katana, your Hub and your Microsoft account. If we part ways, it all stays with you and keeps working.

Nothing goes out without you

Emails are drafts you send. Payments are wires you make. Posts wait for your tap. The Katena number never speaks in the group unless asked.

Fixes never cost extra

If something we built breaks, fixing it is on us and does not use your monthly hours.

Cancel any month

Tell us before the month ends and the next month is not billed. The build stays paid for and stays yours.
